Bernard Williams is a passionate storyteller, content creator, and the author of Cameraman. Born and raised in The Bronx, Bernard discovered his love for the camera at a young age through a school project at Caedmon School—an opportunity made possible by his grandmother, whose support changed his life forever.

For over 20 years, Bernard has battled diabetes and now faces dialysis, but his camera keeps him going. Capturing the real-life stories of others fuels his purpose and keeps his creativity alive. The loss of his beloved grandmother inspired him to write his first children’s book and dream bigger—creating a nonprofit, BRB PROJECT, aimed at launching a summer camp to teach kids ages 8–14 the art of content creation.

Through every challenge, Bernard continues to use his lens to uplift, inspire, and give back to the community that raised him.

Founded in 2020, BRB PROJECT was created with one mission in mind: to spread joy and make a lasting, positive impact in our local community. What started as a simple Christmas toy giveaway has grown into something much bigger—a year-round effort to bring smiles, support, and hope to those who need it most.

From giving away toys during the holidays to hosting multiple community-focused giveaways throughout the year, we’re here to show up, give back, and uplift. Every event we host is rooted in love, unity, and a genuine passion for making a difference.

But we’re not stopping there. Our big dream? Launching a summer camp and after-school program for kids ages 8–14, focused on teaching content creation—from storytelling and video editing to podcasting and creative design. We believe in the power of creativity, and we want to equip the next generation with the tools to express themselves, build confidence, and explore new opportunities.
